| In India, the
number of handicapped people is rapidly rising. The causes
for most of the accidents are ignorance, negligence and carelessness,
apart from, lack of knowledge on safety rules. These suffer
from wounds and septic leading to gangrene, and end up undergoing
amputation! Most of these amputees belong to the economically
weaker section of the society.
They need our help. They need our care and
they need to be told that they can still live their life normally
even after the shattering experience of losing a limb. MUKTI
has its own fund raising schemes and mostly depend on donations
from large hearted people.

value if it can bring smile on the face of a disabled person.
Donations to MUKTI is exempted
from Income Tax u/s 80G of the I.T Act 1961.

1. Corpus Donation
Sponsor an artificial limb for a deserving amputee - 15 years
scheme. Rs.15,000/-
(every year on any date of the donor's choice, an amputee
will be filled with an artificial limb)
Sponsor a Caliper for a deserving polio victim -
15 years scheme Rs.10,000/-
(every year on any date of the donor's choice, an amputee
will be fitted with a caliper)
